This workshop will begin with a brief discussion around the psycho-physiological/mental/emotional and energetic effects anxiety has on our bodies/minds. Our discussion will include a variety of ways in which to mitigate the spectrum of stress, anxiety, and at times resultant depression. The class will include yoga postures (asana) and specifically breath in asana designed to help cool, calm, and engage the parasympathetic nervous system to release stress. Practice will conclude with yoga nidra for deep relaxation and healing. Perfect for all levels!
